The idea of this project was to take a classic novel and reimagine an updated, modern version of a cover design. The goal was to stay away from too obvious imagery while still staying true to the themes of the story. I chose to use the symbol of the Salamander from the story to represent the firemen, while contrasting what the firemen represent by creating the salamander out of burnt and torn book pages.
